ThetaWire ("we", "our", or "us") operates the ThetaWire mobile application. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

• Email address — collected when you sign in via magic link. Used solely for authentication and to deliver your daily brief.
• Interest preferences — the verticals you select during onboarding (e.g. Finance, Technology). Used to personalize your brief.
• Push notification token — collected if you grant notification permission. Used only to send your daily 6:00 AM alert.
• Usage data — anonymous crash reports and performance traces via Sentry. No personally identifiable information is attached.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your account and maintain your session
• Generate your personalized daily brief and podcast
• Send your opted-in push notification at 6:00 AM ET
• Diagnose crashes and improve app stability

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing. We use the following sub-processors to operate the service:

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com)
• Expo / EAS — push notification delivery (expo.dev)
• Sentry — error monitoring (sentry.io)
• Anthropic — AI content generation; no user data is sent in prompts (anthropic.com)
• ElevenLabs — text-to-speech audio generation (elevenlabs.io)

4. Data Retention

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes all your data from our systems within 30 days.

5. Children's Privacy

ThetaWire is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication uses passwordless magic links — no passwords are stored.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us or using the in-app Delete Account option.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via push notification or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
